Min says Russian GDP rise to retain Jul–Sep rate in Oct–Dec
MOSCOW, Nov 13 (PRIME) -- The Economic Development Ministry expects that the Russian economy in October–December will grow at the same rate as in July–September, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The growth rates will persist at approximately the third quarter level in the fourth quarter, which is in line with a forecast of the Economic Development Ministry for the GDP rise in 2019 at 1.3%,” the document read.
The gross domestic product (GDP) grew 1.7% on the year in July–September according to a preliminary estimate of the Federal State Statistics Service.
The quarterly GDP cleared of seasonality was estimated at 0.5% in July–September, 0.5% in April–June and a 0.1% GDP decrease in January–March, which, according to the ministry, leads to an annual GDP growth estimate of 1.5–2.0%.
